RATED PG-13 FOR SAFETY!
Kali's hair blew around her face, tangled up slightly, the reddish brown strands blowing just gently so in the breeze. Her brown eyes scanned the forest warily, not just for signs of monsters but for signs of people too. The last thing she wanted was for someone to be there when...Kali gritted her teeth as she felt her limbs twitching. Not again. She didn't know why. Her curse slash blessing appeared to be getting worse, "developing", Hecate, her mother, noted with a slightly worried look. Who knew what would happen if...
Kali's eyes were vivid red for a moment. The bloody crimson colour, surrounded by a faint ring of amber yellow, quickly but painfully faded back to their normal, warm cocoa brown colour. Kali exhaled, letting a long breath she hadn't even noticed she was holding whoosh out quickly. If that happened when she was with her friends...not that she had many. She'd been at Camp Half-Blood since she was five years old, and now, at the age of fifteen, a full ten years since she'd arrived at this camp, much to the surprise of Dionysus and Chiron, she was still a loner.
Kali was so wrapped up in her thoughts she completely forgot to listen for people and monsters. Right, she thought to herself. Kali extended her senses, a little trick she learned, her mother being Hecate and all. She sensed...
Kali sighed. When she spoke, it was in a calm, loud, projected musical sounding voice. However, she felt the complete opposite inside. "I know you're there," Kali announced. Her hair blew across her face, the wind getting slightly stronger. Luckily it kept away from her mouth. That would've been embarrassing, pausing in her speech to hurriedly spit out a few strands of red brown hair. "Come out already."
The person probably wasn't following her, and probably didn't even notice Kali was there. However, Kali spoke out anyway.

(Can I be the person?Anyways I'll post) Kenneth was in the forest. A place where he loved to train. There was monsters everywhere there. Kenneth gripped his pole harder. A strong power source was near by. Kenneth couldn't "sense" anything... but he just felt someone... or something there. Kenneth ignored his instincts for a second until he heard someone's voice. Startled, Kenneth stepped back...he raised his pole. "Who's there?" he called. His voice rang out in the forest, that was stupid... Kenneth could have just kept silent.

"Who's there?" Kali resisted the urge to roll her eyes. Was this guy stupid or something? Kali turned in the direction of the voice. She cast her senses out, closing her eyelids. Her dark eyelashes stood out against her unnaturally pale skin. Male. The sea...son of Poseidon. Kenneth Lorway. Kali re-opened her eyes. "A demigod. Who else?" Kali knew that wasn't what the guy wanted to hear, but she didn't want to introduce herself. If Kenneth didn't know about the rumors that were spread around about Kali, he'd find out soon enough. Those myths about her seemed to spread like wildfire. No, faster than wildfire.
Kali's eyes flashed red. The disturbing scarlet surrounded by the usual golden ring lasted for a brief second before returning to normal, again. Kali hadn't realized she was all tensed up. That kept happening. Kalika Moira, the 'affectionate' nickname for her alter ego, her other personality, the curse, the blessing, whatever the Hades you wanted to call it, would manage to somehow 'posses' [in a way] Kali, and in that brief second, Kali would either tense up, close her eyes, or hold her breath. She wouldn't even know she was doing anything until she returned to her senses...well, her somewhat 'normal' senses anyway.
This was why Kali liked to be left alone. She never wanted anyone else to see her as Kalika...the result of her own mother's curse. Only two seconds had passed. Kali shook her head, a little dazed. "Come out," she repeated, hoping the dizziness she felt didn't show in her voice. How embarrassing would that be?

Kali had her eyes closed when Kenneth walked out of the trees, brushes, and such undergrowth. She didn't need to see to know where everything was, a perfect picture of where she was standing and where Kenneth was popped into her head. Not as good as having your eyes open, better than being blind. "Hello. What might you being doing in the forest as this fine time of the day?"
Her voice had suddenly grown soft. You might think it was just because she was shy to talk face to face to another demigod, which was, well, true, but in this case her voice was only soft as she had to resist Kalika Moira...the godsdamned curse that was caused by her own mother, goddess of magic, the oh-so...Kali's thoughts trailed off. She swore to herself, long ago, that she would never think anything bad about her mother. Even Hecate, goddess of magic, could not have predicted this outcome. Sure, Kali might turn into a monster without warning. Sure, there were barely any upsides. But she had never lost a battle so far. Hecate had told her, warned her, that Kali was not undefeatable. It was implausible, but not impossible. Hold on a second...
Without warning, Kali snapped open her eyes. They were burning a savage red, lined with molten golden yellow. A maniac glint came to her eyes, and an insane smile lit up her face. "And how soon can you leave?" Kalika Moira laughed, showing that her two canines had suddenly sprouted and were gleaming bright white, unnaturally sharp. Without warning, and with inhuman strength and speed, Kalika lunged for the unsuspecting son of Poseidon, Kenneth Lorway.

(OMG) Kenneth was about to answer when she lunged at Kenneth. Kenneth weeled back as he gripped his pole... He jumped to one side as he gripped on to a tree branch near by. Kenneth had just escaped... as his pole hit the ground. He was stunned.....

Kalika landed on her feet easily, whirling around, a vicious glint in her eyes. Gone were the warm, medium brown coloured eyes. Gone was the slight pink in her skin tone that made her look...well, alive. Kalika was now an ice cold, pale as a ghost, fanged killing machine...with only one goal-to slaughter everyone in sight. "Meet your death with dignity!" Kalika Moira shrieked in laughter, throwing her head back. her vivid red hair cascaded down her back, rippling as she laughed crazily, showing no signs of stopping.
Kenneth most likely had no idea what in the world was going on. Again, without warning, Kalika abruptly stopped laughing hysterically and lunged again. Her fingernails were unnaturally sharp, pretty much claws, and definitely could hurt you...badly. Her eyes blazed in hatred that had come from seemingly nowhere as she slashed and ripped, again and again at the shocked son of Poseidon. Kalika didn't even know if any of her blows hit, and she saw was a red haze...and all she wanted was to smell blood.

Kenneth jumped back quickly. He dodged out of the way by rolling to the left. BUt the strikes kept coming. Kenneth closed his eyes as he sensed Kalika's movements. He dodged the opposite way of what Kalika's strikes came. He was hit on the chest as he fell back.... He regained his balance gritting his teeth. He didn't know what happened... or why it happened. All Kenneth knew was if he doesn't react faster... it coud be bad for him. Kenneth waited for Kalika to calm down.. knowing that she probably won't/

{If I am to make her seem real, then Kalika must sieze control every once in awhile...and Kenneth was unlucky enough to be caught when Kalika Moira in is control. Besides, it is entertaining.}
Abruptly Kalika stopped in her attacks, one blow away from slicing Kenneth's throat open. There was a splatter of blood on her shirt, and her lips were darker red than before. Kalika didn't know, and didn't care, if it were her own blood or Kenneth's. But right now, the demonic hatred that burned in her eyes slowly but surely faded away. Kalika closed her eyes. Her hands weren't clawed anymore. She didn't look like a freezing, walking corpse anymore, either. When Kali snapped open her eyes, they were brown. A human brown, without the monstrous glint or the evil glare.
Kali looked around, mild confusion evident on her face. When she saw her shirt, a black spaghetti strap with now a scarlet splash of...something, realization dawned on her. Kali immediately looked horrified. "Wha...what did I do?" She sounded dazed, confused, and scared. Kalika Moira...she was going to die one day, when the demonic her broke loose forever...and killed herself.

Kenneth was about to attack as he raised his pole to shoulder level. Then when Kenneth took aim... Kalika... or Kali... looked different. More confused than er... (How do you describe a maniac who attacks someone who tries to say hi? JK) Kenneth lowered his pole down. His gaurd was still up... even though he wasn't in a offensive position now. "YOu mean... you don't know what you just did," Kenneth said... half confused and half snarling.

Kali's heart sank. Another person that would evidentally hate her, or think she was just plain insane. Kali was actually probably both. "Kalika." she said matter-of-factly, masking every other emotion. She looked at Kenneth, and, very softly, said, "I'm sorry." Then she turned and walked away, not saying anything else, assuming Kenneth would leave. Who wouldn't? They were just attacked by a psycho crazy murderer when they tried to say 'hi'.
Kali walked slowly, deliberately, as if she hoped Kenneth would stop her. It was a small hope, and not a very reasonable one, but a girl could dream, right?

(I like PBJ Sandwiches) Kenneth tried to replay the scene in his head. He walked outside... killed a scorpion(Hurra...) and saw this girl who tried to kill him. And now the girl.. Kalika... calmed down and walked away....A random event... but Kenneth needs a explanation. He didn't sense pure evil in Kalika... something was not right. Kenneth felt safe enough to speak.. without getting torn in to shreds. "Hey!" he called. If Kalika attacked this time.. he would be ready. "So your just going to attack me, say sorry, and walk away... someone tell me what is happening in this world!"

Kali stopped, surprised for once. Most people just let her go, and stayed in the forest awhile to collect their senses. That was a rare few, since Kali didn't usually gain control over herself again until whoever she intially attacked in the beginning was dead. And by then, Kalika Moira had won. Slowly Kali turned around, shock evident on her face. She quickly masked that with an emotionless facade. "I-I can't tell you," Kali sounded scared. The last time she'd tried to tell someone about her curse...well, let's just say the guy she had a crush on was killed and brutally mauled, and Kalika took form much to often after that.
"Trust me. Just-just leave me alone," her voice rose slightly in a panic. "I don't want to kill you!" Kali was near tears now, and almost screaming, which was a first time for her. Kali abruptly turned around and tore deeper into the forest, silent tears streaking down her cheek. Who cared if Kenneth just found her again? He probably already thought she was a monster...and she was. And she felt like one.
Kalika Moira...you will be the end of me.

Kenneth was about to ask again when his pole vibrated. He stopped trying to say what he was about to. The pole vibrating was a warning... a warning of what? The pole only sends a message when... well... Kenneth is about to face a op-... forget it. He shook his head.. what happened was weird and scary... Kenneth walked back toward the clearing.. feeling paralyzed. His body was half shaking, she said she didn't want to kill him... is that true? Kenneth rolled his eyes... yeah and why would she want him dead? Kenneth gripped his pole harder as the pole shrank to the size of a needle.

{*is confused* What's with the pole? lol. And what's 'op-'?}
Kali ran through the forest blindly. Some monsters shied away from her prescence. The fresh greenery at her feet wilted and the plants shied away, just like the monsters. Kali seemed to have that effect on everything, even when she wasn't Kalika Moira, and just plain old Kali...understatement, much? 'Plain old Kali' wanted to kill herself, though at the same time she didn't. Kali almost crashed into a tree a few times, but the nymphs shouted warnings that caused her to swerve and miss.
Kali finally stopped to catch her breath. She might've been running in circles for all she knew. She looked around, not recognizing where in the forest she was. Kali frowned and walked for a bit, this time in a straight direction, still not knowing where the Hades she was. Kali stopped again, wiping tears that streaked her cheeks. Her eyes were red, but not the kind of red that happened when Kalika Moira took control. This kind of red was almost brand new to her. Kali had rarely cried in her life. She looked at a rain puddle on the ground that showed her reflection. Pale skin, vivid red hair, and brown eyes that were puffy from crying.
Kali sighed. What a life it is, she thought sarcastically. She thought back to Kenneth, the son of Poseidon. Maybe she should've have ran. Maybe she should've stayed and explained the curse, even though that would've just made it worse...Kenneth could've taken that the wrong way, especially when Kali was screaming that she didn't want to kill her. How much more blunt can you get? Not much.
